Welcome to the world of monica castiglioni Since 1979

Jewel designer, emotional photographer, experimenter, curious, passionate researcher, fellow of new technologies and at the same time a lover of ancient techniques of material handcraft.

International

Monica Castiglioni is an internationally acclaimed jewellery designer. Design and photography are her two most visible talents. She lives between Milano and Brooklyn. Her workshop-store in Milano is in a neighborhood called “Isola” (Island), a new name to bear in mind if you wish to discover new amazing artists and artistic trends. New York City is her home away from home that she relentlessly photographed over and over again.

Art | Jewelry

Monica is a jewellery designer and an emotional photographer. Her book on the poodles in New York City is truly wonderful. Yet, she also likes experimenting, researching with utmost curiosity, exploring new technologies with a great deal of passion and is also in love with century-old processing techniques.

With Love

Born in Milano, Monica has chosen to open her workshop-store in her home away from home, Brooklyn, where she makes her jewels, most of which single pieces. «My problem is that I make lots of jewels, I can’t stop it! ». Indeed, her show-room in Milano is filled with lots of her creations, some of which are actual sculptures that are just perfect if displayed or hanged on a wall, as one would do with a painting.
